Pricing...Why is it higher than 'so and so' I saw on online classfieds?
We know that our prices are higher than the 'other guy' you see on various online bulletin boards and classified sites. When Rochester Computer Guy started in 2002 we used to use the same system of a 'flat rate' for home visits. Thinking that how it was a good idea to show value and build a business...what we heard from our customers though were horror stories of various 'other guys'. They would tell of how 'so and so came in, and basically put a 'band-aid' on my PC and rushed out of here off to their next call and I wasn't feeling 'valued'. As we got older and our lives became busier...we realized that with our knowledge and experience...we had GRADUATED.
Our owner has over 14 years in the Information Technology field focusing on support and Systems Administration. He's been certified by Microsoft as a Certified Systems Administrator and by other agencies as well. All of our staff work currently in the IT field in their 'day jobs' and do this on the side because they love the work and helping end users.
To be frank...we're worth more than just the "$50 flat rate" fees the other guys charge. As we said earlier...our staff is made up of industry professionals gainfully working in other IT positions around the area.
